That sounds like revisionist history to me.

Well… during the Third Reich’s years in ascendence, quite a few Germans moved into the occupied territories — and were expelled, sometimes with extreme prejudice, when their territories were liberated. The locals would be unlikely to make exceptions for ethnic Germans who had been there all along.

Also, in the areas the Red Army occupied, soldiers raped everything female they could find, and may not have stopped with that. (To reply to her earlier remark, anyone who was in Dresden during the firestorm was at risk and casualties were massive. That it was a war crime appears to be the majority opinion.
