The ugly truth is that because this whole fucking country’s about the money that’s what this comes down to for a lot of (mostly white) people, the mental calculus of how much it’s literally worth to maintain a cordial relationship with demonstrably amoral family members in the hopes of not jeopardizing some potential future inheritance.

However, in many cases, it is just that you truly care for the family member and even though their politics are evil, they remain loving to their family. They’ve been brainwashed by lies that are repeated by RW platforms and even MSM, but that does not mean they cannot be kind and caring to their friends and family.
